Motech plans to expand capacity, says paper

Motech Industries plans to expand its PV module production capacity in fourth-quarter 2013 and crystalline silicon solar cell capacity in 2014, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).

Motech currently has annual production capacity of 1.6GWp for solar cells and 92MWp for PV modules, EDN indicated. It has annual production capacity of 500MWp in equivalent for solar-grade crystalline silicon wafers, with all output meeting one-third of in-house demand, EDN said.
