Fast Park Completes Solar Install At Texas Airport Facility
12 September 2013
Fast Park has completed the installation and commissioning of 300 solar panels at its Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) parking facility in Texas. The solar panels are expected to produce 79.38 kW of electricity, about 16% of the facility's power usage.
Fast Park worked with Ohio-based Third Sun Solar to complete the installation project. Third Sun Solar selected Austin-based Meridian Solar to perform the engineering and construction using local labor. The project is supported in part by a financial incentive from Austin Energy.
During the expansion, four FastCharge electric vehicle charging stations were installed.
