The government of India's state of Odisha has launched a tender process for the deployment of a 25-MW photovoltaic (PV) project in the state.
The bidder that proposes the lowest rate to sell power to the state will win the tender. It will have to provide an INR-300-million (USD 5.7m/EUR 4.4m) bank guarantee before signing the power purchase agreement (PPA) with the state and to complete the project in 13 months from the date of signing the PPA or in 15 months from the date of issue of the letter of intent, Indian daily Hindu Business Line reported today.
