On November 3rd, 2012, Natural Group, an India focused renewable energy advisory and management organization, has released a list of qualified bidders for the 10,000 rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) power systems (off-grid) program in the Indian federal state Kerala.

The top five bidders include: Power One Micro Systems Ltd.; Chemtrols Solar Pvt Ltd.; Millenium Synergy Pvt. Ltd.; Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd.; Adithya Solar Energy Systems.

The Agency for Non-conventional Energy and Rural Technology (Anert), which is implementing the scheme, has received around 4,000 applications for setting up solar photovoltaic (PV) systems of 1 kilowatt peak (kWp) capacity, Times of India reported
