"China Twelfth Five Year Plan" set the PV installation target as 21GW
Author: Source:solarzoom Editor: Publish at Beijing Time: 2012-07-02 09:25:50
"China Twelfth Five Year Plan" set the PV installation target as 21GW, and it's should be the final version. the target was 5GW at beginning and changed 2 times to 10GW and 15GW in this year. Now it should be the final version and will be published soon.

Though it's three times more than the first version, it is still a conservative target. The Chinese market is expected a 5~6GW installation in 2012, and still in growth. There is a totally high possibility for China to exceed the 21GW target.

Among the 21GW, we expect more than 10 GW is for distribution power station, and it should happen in 1~2 year. At the end of 2011, there is 3.6GW PV accumulated installation and only less than 10% is a distributed power station. But because of the sharp decline of the module price, Consumer Grid Parity is enclosed in some Chinese province. Once  the "State Distribution Power Generation Act" is published. the distribution market will explode in short time
